Have your say to improve the care of people aged over 50 living with HIV in the UK

by Portia Jackson | May 16, 2025

An important research project is currently being undertaken looking for research ideas to improve the health and care of people aged over 50 living with HIV in the UK. The researchers want to know what matters to older people living with HIV, and people who look after them.

The survey is for people with HIV aged over 50, their carers, and healthcare professionals involved in their care and the responses will be used to generate the top 10 important research questions.

The work is funded by Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board and is lead by Dr Richard Ma, GP & Academic Clinical Lecturer based at Centre for Academic Primary Care, University of Bristol.
